am in the melb uni library now.. using an utterly sweeeet imac. groovy. ah well. one of my lecturers had a 15" powerbook. but i didn't dare go tell him he rocks. so whatever :)

bio lab sessions rock. yesterday we cut up a bovine eyeball. and you know how cats and some animals' eyes reflect light when you shine a light into it? yeah we saw this greenish blue iridescent layer just below the retina. sweeeet. and then we had optometry sessions where we examined each other's eyes and i saw claire's blue contacts thru the magnifying thingy whatever :) so cool! it rocks la. i love lab. and today we had genetics lab. so then we knocked out normal and mutated drosophila (fruit flies) with CO2 and examined them under the microscope... they're icky looking. after tt, we dumped them into the 'fly morgue' which was essentially a jar with drowned flies in ethanol. poor things. i is murderer :/

ah well. it's 35 freaking degrees out today. and it was 30 yesterday. and there promises to be a thunderstorm tmr. like wth. what freaky weather they've got here la! anyhow. my clothes are started to be so monotonous cos i only brought jeans and tshirts. so whatever... sigh. my eyes are drying out :(

have to do project :( for this science summer school thingy. damn. i'm doing eugenics tho.. decided it was kinda fun. but i needs helps :) please email me if you're free to help! hehe. you could write my report for me. or give me ideas on how to present! yay.
