Window A

have you ever, when you're walking home at night and wearied from the day's travails, just raised your head, looked at the night sky and broken out smiling and grinning like an idiot? i was walking up the interminably long and winding slope home and just feeling totally stoned when i looked up into the sky and saw the moon. the half moon was glowing and there was a beautiful nimbus of light surrounding it that looked so utterly ethereal and undescribably peaceful :) the night sky was especially clear tonight, and the sky was just filled with stars -- there i was just craning my head upwards and grinning foolishly and skipping along in delight, just totally *happy* :) and i saw the constellations except i don't know their names... and there was this one that i always see on clear nights --- 3 stars in a straight line... what's that one called? i've tried to identify constellations, except that whenever i look at the star arrangements i can never tell what is what... a lack of imagination perhaps? it was just so calming, just looking into a sapphire blanket studded with stars :D aaahhh :):):) hehe :) v v happy!!!

and i was looking at the stars and i couldn't help thinking that although the stars look as if they actually were arranged so closely together they are all separated by lightyears and lightyears of space so that only us on earth can even see the constellations as we have always known them :) like a gift from the stars :)
